How to install Time Log Add-on On Orangescrum
Timelog is a smart way to track where and how the user is spending time. This will also help you to generate invoice from the time log history.
If you have purchased any add-on before, then contact us firstname.lastname@example.org. We highly recommend this before installing Time Log add-on.
Steps below will guide you to install and integrate Time Log Add-on to your Orangescrum
Make Sure to keep a backup of your existing app folder
Extract the "Timelog-V1.0.zip" file (Buy Time Log Add-on) to your desktop which will give you following files,
Remove the existing "app" folder from your working directory and copy and paste the extracted "app" folder to your working directory.
If you are using local machine as storage (excluding Amazon S3), please replace the folder, named "files" inside the "app/webroot" folder from the back up to the downloaded (i.e., the Add-on folder) "app/webroot" folder.
Give proper write permission (0777) to "app/Config", "app/tmp" and "app/webroot" folders.
For Example: chmod -R 0777 app/Config
chmod -R 0777 app/tmp
chmod -R 0777 app/webroot
Get the "log_times.sql" file from the moved directory and import that to your working/active database.
Do the necessary changes to "constants.php" and "database.php" inside "app/Config" folder again as you have done earlier. For Example SMTP email credentials in "constants.php" page and database credentials in "database.php" page.
Run the website once. For example:
Replace "Configure::write('debug',2);" with "Configure::write('debug',0);" in the app/Config/core.php.
Once you have completed all the process, you will be able to see the new Time Log feature in below pages,
Time Log Link in left menu panel
Time Log & Start Timer Links in quick links at the header
Resource Utilization Link in top setting menu
Time Log & Start Timer Links in each task action drop down menu
Time Log button in each task detail page
